Here at the Peanut Shell we take a few days off during the holiday season to enjoy some work-free time with our families. This time gives us each a chance to celebrate the season and our traditions in our own style. For me, one of my favorite traditions is when my family gets matching Christmas jammies to wear on Christmas morning. At first it seemed like a silly tradition but it has become quite fun for us all!

The first challenge is to actually find  jammies that match, for all of us. Once we do, then we all look forward to wearing them on Christmas. Here are a few pics to enjoy. It is noteworthy to add that while I am wearing a red jacket that I could not get off for the picture, I really was wearing a matching top. My pregnant belly made the zipper sort of jam….so while I tried to get the jacket off for the pic it required pliers that we didn’t have!!

First, a thank you. I want to thank each and every one of you that have supported our growth over the years here at the Peanut Shell. From the local moms who used to buy Peanut Shells out of the back of my car, thanks. To the first retail stores that believed in our products, thanks. To the same retail stores that stayed with us when we had our growing pains, thanks. To our wonderful distributors that we are so lucky to have, thanks. To all of our employees that put up with my insanity on a daily basis, thanks.  

And most of all, I want to thank my husband and my little Peanut (who is not a little Peanut anymore). To my husband for working alongside me, supporting me and being the business sense that I lacked, thanks and I love you. And to my little Peanut, Campbell. We wouldn’t have had any of this without you. AND now, for little Peanut #2 on the way….what new adventures will you bring us? So without getting too sentimental a sincere thank you to all of you for truly supporting a dream and helping to make it come true.

And now, we have started fresh, a new face a new brand. You will notice that several things are different on the new site, including our Peanut Gallery no longer being a part of the site. 

Instead, we will be placing your stories, your photos, common questions, ideas, stores from the sling (places you have traveled with your baby), business ideas, and sales here. This will be our little space to connect with you, our customer.
